It's 10:30 am on Tuesday here at Terranova and we are packing a lot into our final day here. We had a full four days in the bush where we saw plenty of animals and plants and many stories to be told, but now its back to work.

This morning I woke up and had our usual coffee and breakfast and then headed down to the school. I was looking forward to my morning with the teachers, showing them the blog and getting feedback, but to my loss the power is out which means no Internet. We are hoping to get everything back up and running ASAP, but it is hard with the set back.

Not only does the spottiness of the Internet make this hard to do, but also the fact that they are coming to the end of a term which means cramming and finals. I don't want to take the teachers out of the classroom during such an important time, but they want to learn so that they can be better teachers and so that they have access to the Internet resources that would truly help their students. Once I get a few teachers trained more with the resources and other parts of the blog I think it will spread like wildfire, because they are so excited. A few of the teachers are also excited about the bracelets and solar ovens, so I feel like everything I am doing is so helpful in some way or shape.

This afternoon we are planning on showing the film Rio to the kids. We have been popping popcorn all morning and the kids are getting excited for movie time.

So I am sitting here at the housing waiting till I can work again... I hate it, but what else can I do?
